Victory
I am fairly sure I know the answer to this question but I still need to ask.
Are there any Victory models in nickel? I have no pictures at the moment or SN's but I do know the top strap is marked U S NAVY
Any help would be appreciated...I can not get a look at this gun until Saturday.

No. Too bad, as original Navy marked specimens have greater than normal collectible value. This one has none, just a shooter. If you haven't yet purchased it, I suggest you do not, unless you can get it cheap for use as a knockaround gun.

If the nickel and action are in good condition, it may be worth that as a shooter. I enjoy shooting mine.

As a shooter, I agree $275 is not bad assuming no mechanical problems. Without the plating and in very good original condition it would sell for double to triple that price.
