grips for US Army Model 1917 .45acp
need some grips for this revolver.. the pachmayer presentation grips for an n-frame square butt don't seem to fit..
what do i need to look for? just want something comfortable to shoot, not looking for expensive original stuff..
thanks for any help.

Smith makes a new reproduction grip for old N-frames that you see on eBay occasionally. It may also be available from the factory. Combine it with a bronze Tyler T-Grip adapter, and it both fits the hand comfortably and looks appropriate to a vintage revolver.

Bob interesting shoulder holster. Is it of current manufacture? I like the placement of the half moon clips. Frank jr.

It's a vintage Heiser of Denver spring holster. I fabricated the cartridge loops.

Eagle makes a close copy of the factory service grip. Most any N frame aftermarket grip should fit, but for some you may have to remove the lanyard ring, which is simple to do (and it can be easily reinstalled).
