I know this may not be the right section to ask this, but........
Do any members know of a source where the "oiled, dark tan Smith revolver papers can be found? I would like several to place in boxes where the previous owners threw them away.
Call S&W customer service and ask for VCI paper I think it's 30 cents per sheet. They may even send you a few sheets for free if they are in the holiday spirit.

a while. Don
Nope. VCI paper is Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor paper. Major manufacturers and the military use it to ship or store metal parts. It gives off a protective chemical vapor that inhibits rust and corrosion in metal. I buy it in large rolls from Uline. A $40 roll will last you a lifetime.
