Smith Revolver Wrapping Papers?

I know this may not be the right section to ask this, but........

Do any members know of a source where the "oiled, dark tan Smith revolver papers can be found? I would like several to place in boxes where the previous owners threw them away.

Call S&W customer service and ask for VCI paper I think it's 30 cents per sheet.They may even send you a few sheets for free if they are in the holiday spirit.

Nope. VCI paper is Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor paper. Major manufacturers and the military use it to ship or store metal parts. It gives off a protective chemical vapor that inhibits rust and corrosion in metal. I buy it in large rolls from Uline. A $40 roll will last you a lifetime.
