Hi Bill:

Two very nice early "N" serialed numbered Nickel 29's. Have you seen any nickel 29-2's with N pre-fix serial numbers and blued front sights?

Happy New Year!

Bob

Bob...Happy New Year to you and Louise!!! I have not seen a 29-2 or Model 57 that has a serial number beginning with the letter N that has a blued front sight and ramp. I know the nickel plated front sight/ramp was implemented as early as S270000 for these models.

Bill, first, two really nice shiny 44 Mags. I hope you don't mind me horning in on your thread, but here are a couple of nickel long barreled S series 29-2s showing the different front sights which help illustrate your response to Bob. Like you, I've not run across an N series 29-2 with the blue front sight blade.
Happy New Years to you and Connie.
