Smile 27-2 in 3.5" accuracy report.

Took my 2 K 22's and the 27 2in 3.5" I picked up this week to the range. Both K 22's shot small groups with the right ammo.

I used W 150 gr 38 Specials in the 27. 5 rounds in one big hole about 1" from the X at 8 oclock. The 6th was an aw sheet due to me pulling one round. I shot another group, 8 oclock and one hole. I then put in some 357 125 gr loads. Dead center group in the X. I put up another target. The targets have 2 bigger targets left and right with 2 smaller targets top and bottom. I was going to shoot some more but decided to bear down with full loads, I loaded 4 rounds and hit the X on all 4 targets. I left it for the next shooter. Smith and Wesson made my day.

Good shooting! The N frame shooting 38 loads tends to bring out the best in most shooters, myself included. Try some light 148 wadcutters...they feel about like shooting a 22.

Good point about "the right ammo" for 22s. They seem to be very brand sensitive, and it pays to try several different types to see what shoots best in your gun.
