Default 3 In model 13-3 rb

A guy just called me saying he had this gun with extra grips and lots a ammo wanting $350 firm for it.Supposed to be in great shape.Any idea what years this was made without knowing the serial number and is this a decent deal?

If the gun is in good condition, that sounds like a smokin deal especially if ammo is included.

3" Smiths usually tend to bring a premium.

-3 order was in 1982. -4 was 1988 so it should be somewhere in there.
It will not be pinned or recessed which some don't like. It is a 3 inch RB which has become desireable.
$350 sounds fair, I would buy it.

Buy it before he changes his mind. Pay a deposit if necessary to hold it. Those are hot items.

Picture? 3 in. model 13-2 wearing whale ivory grips.

The 3"model 13 is a marvelous combination of form and function.
you were fortunate to find one for the price.
Shoot and enjoy your new 'heater'.

Here's my M-13-3, 3" with Keith Brown walnut grips and a great holster I picked up used. I really like the Target hammer and SMOOTH target trigger on this revolver! Made in 1984, it is the most modern revolver I own!

I am looking for a set of factory grips for my model 13-3, so if you want to part with yours, let me know. I can set you up with a trade if you are interested, or buy them outright. Thanks,
John

I'd buy it. In fact I did. I offered $400 but he wanted $375.
So I caved! BTW. This is the most practical go almost every gun I ever had. It is so useful and accurate. I'd buy that gun now!

Gotta love 3" 13's!!!
I just sold one but will not be selling the other.
As Wyatt mentioned they are about the most pratcial, common sense weapon S&W ever put out!

Sold one because this one is taking it's place!
