Default Date for a 30-1?

I'm helping to settle an estate, and I need to get an approximate date of manufacture (to help establish when the gun could or could not have been bought.) I can't get my hands on my copy of SCSW, so if somebody can help me out it would be most appreciated. The serial number on the butt is H195XX stamped in large, bold markings. It is blued and has had its grips replaced and that's about all I can learn about it. Any and all help appreciated.

Thanks, Steve. Fishpaw dated the grips at 1988 and I was hoping the gun would at least be post-1975 to simplify the estate (don't ask! ) but knowing is almost always better than not knowing.
