My Xmas present from my wife 27-2 3.5 inch
Just got this home in time for Christmas. Wife got it for me. It is a 27-2 with a 3.5 inch barrel. The gun is like new and has had maybe a couple of cylinders full of ammo through it at the most. It came with the factory box, papers and cleaning kit. Switched the target grips out for a set of kurac ebony coke profile grips.
I love it. Paid 950 for it here in California so it did not come cheap but it was worth it.

Congratulations on your Christmas gift, that is a very nice revolver and I like the ebony grips too, I know they aren't always available.

I carried that guns twin for the first 15 years I was Leo. Grips really set it off. Great present. Great wife. You're a very lucky man.

Nothing says, "I love you" like a gift of Smith & Wesson.
Guns are men's jewelery. I keep telling my wife that, and she's starting to believe.

The bluing on the barrel looks different from the rest of the gun. Has your 27-2 been re barreled?

Christmas Presents!
I just picked up a Colt Trooper .357 6 inch barrel for Christmas looked down in the display case a Holy Christmas dam. There's a 27-2 3 1/2 inch barrel with box, tools and papers for $595.00. Layaway time. Holy Grail gun on the day before Christmas. Cheers and Merry Christmas. Frank Jr.

It has not be reblued. It is just crapy cell phone pic. I got her a set of sapphire earings for Xmas to match the ring I got her for her birthday (2 weeks ago). She also got me a set of sharks hockey tickets withc is always fun.
Thank you all for tr kind words. I let me wife read this thread and she got a kick out of it. I told her that a present like this is something that I will have and enjoy every year for the rest of my life. So I think I'll have more gun presents in my future.
I ended up getting a cz550 mannlicher 9.3 for my birthday earlier.

I think I would rather have that 27 over the new freezer we agreed to get instead of exchanging gifts. Our freezer is 37 years old moans rather pathetically from time to time.
Some times ya gotta do what you gotta do.
You take care of that wife, she's a keeper.
