I'm really more into the pinned/recessed Models but i can pick up a M19-5 in mint condition, no box etc for about $450. The Wife is on my butt big time lately, seems I've gone a little S&W crazy, but I'm thinking this one could be a good 'sneak it into the gun safe' buy. Am i correct?

I have the same gun and if you can pick it up for $450 id do it. Sounds reasonable to me and they dont make them anymore. Good luck.

I had a nickle 19-5 that was a nice shooting gun. Since I had a blue 19-4 I traded the -5 on a sweet k-38. If gun is in good shape that is an ok price IMHO
