Well before Thanksgiving I got a 27-2 8 3/8", that ruined me. So I started looking for a K38.

Picked this 14-3 (below) up off the web. Got it at a decent price, not perfect but happy. Had cr@ppy grips on it so I tossed some targets on for "picture day". Some bluing loss, trigger stop, a few tiny freckles, cleaned up nicely but have not fired it yet. Just the gun, nuttin extra. I've got to refinish those grips (picked up some tru-oil)




Also introducing my 27-2 S prefix long tube I got before Christmas. Really nice shape, feels good, looks good, love the diamond magnas & the bluing is in great shape, faint turn line.





And all three together with the unfired 27-2 minty fresh in the background. K38 up front, I'm feeling good!

i have most of the long bbls and need to shot them more this year. you need a long 17 now.

That's just mean Just did my taxes I've been looking for a 17, but it looks like I'll be sending my gun funds to DC instead, could have bought 3 really nice ones.
