Before and After Model 36
Came with the Pachmeyer's Just added the S&W Wood. Kind of like lingerie for the J frame same pistol but it sure looks good.

All the J-frames are good. I need to get some wood on my 49. Just haven't found the pair that grabs me. The VZ's are nice but they are like $75.00. Nice gun.

Of all the rubber/plastic grips in the world, the Pachmayr compac pro is the least horrible of the bunch, but you got it right with beautiful hardwood.

I really like Altamont grips. They are priced fairly, they ship out quickly, the fit and finish are excellent. I have a pair on my carry j-frame (the boot grips) and on my 2.5" model 66 that carry and use for competition.

I, like a lot of the Guys and Gals here went through the "experimental' phase with all different types of grips. After ordering exotic and custom made grips from allover the place, guess what my Model 60 has worn for the last 8 years..........
The original set of S&W Factory Magnagrips with a Tyler - T adapter. Wish I had figured that out before spending all the money that could have been spent on more guns!
