Default how do I get the cylinder/yoke off my M17?

I like to disassemble my revolvers when I clean them. Taking the cylinder and yoke off my other k frames is an easy operation but not so much for a recently bought model 17. Can this be done without taking the side plate off?

It should remove exactly like any other K frame. Remove the front side plate screw, and then swing out the cylinder and gently slide it forward out of the yoke recess off the frame.

OK, I'm sitting here red faced and embarrassed! After reading your post, I went and looked at the gun again and compared it to my M19. The front screws are in exactly the same place. I don't know why I thought they were placed differently. I guess old age is creeping in.
