Anyone have any experience with these? My 4" 1966 10-5 had factory magnas, and a Tyler T-Grip I added; but as I've aged and the arthritis in my hands has progressed, they just didn't feel really comfortable. I loved the appearance with the walnut and blue/black Tyler, but felt a need for something more hand-filling. Cost was and is an issue, as I live on a very small fixed income.

I had been more than satisfied with a set of Pachmayr Compacs on my 640 EDC (still am), so I thought I'd try the Presentations on the K-frame. I just put them on, and haven't shot with them yet. Feel pretty good so far. They are grippier than the Compacs, but I don't carry the 10-5 concealed.

Anyone have any comments on these?

In a word, they're great! I use them when my Model 13 goes to the range and I run full tilt .357 loads through it. The wood does look better but for use old timers (I'm 66) these Pach's are just the ticket.

One thing to be careful of is that Pach's trap moisture (oil, etc.) under the grip. I remove them when I clean the gun and store wearing the wood.

i have Pachmayr grips on most of my S&W revolvers. my favorites are the Pachmayr Presentation "small" size. they have not been made in awhile, but you can still find them on ebay.

When I go to the range my S&W's wear pachmayr grippers and hogue monogrips. While on display in the back of the safe they wear factory grips, grashorns and fancy wood.

My Model 13 wears Pachmayr Presentation grips to range and everywhere else. Ditto on older shooters comments...

I will often use the Pachmayr Presentation grips on my Model 66 and 19 revolvers when shooting .357 ammo. They help a lot. My fingers don't line up on most grips with finger grooves so the Presentation grips are much more friendly. I saw many local County Sheriff Deputies with these grips on their 4" Model 66 revolvers back in the seventies.

The Pachmayr line probably has 6 or 7 different grips for square butt K's.

I prefer the Gripper Pro with open backstrap.
