Default Need some advice on a Model 36

Saw a Model 36 no dash flat latch nickel at my LGS today. It was wearing faux stag grips and an aluminum T-grip. The nickel appears original to my eyes. The action was very tight. The serial number is 292XXX. Can anyone tell me the approximate date of manufacture since I'm at work and don't have my SCSW handy? He wants $479. Is this a good price? I've never shopped for a J frame Smith so I don't have anything to compare it to. Thanks.

Keith

It is probably a 1963 gun. I would guess it is about $100 high, but be sure to post photos if you disagree .

If it's in excellent condition, say 95% or so, I'd buy it for that. That's about what they bring in my area.
