Pinto finally gets a pinto
Always wanted a pinto S&W. Unfortunately, they don't exactly grow on trees around here - at least ones that I could hope to afford.
Traded into a 27-2 that, while functionally fine, had a number of cosmetic "issues". Carried a lot, fired little it appeared.
So, late in May I phoned S&W Customer Service to inquire about having it refinished in pinto fashion. Nice lady said "no problem" costs the same as a regular refinish and e-mailed a shipping label.
So, off it went. Came back yesterday. Added some nice stocks from the cache, and I'm ready to go with a fake pinto:

Fake pinto? OK, but still a pretty gun...and you can shoot it forevah without affecting its value. Win-win.
