It maybe time to let someone who collects Model 19s add my reverse pinto to their collection. For me she is just a safe Queen. I have the paper work from Mr. Jinks, S&W historian that the gun was one of 5 shipped on January 27, 1972. It was shipped with a 2.5 inch barrel, blu-nickel finish and checkered Goncalo Alves magna round butt grips. I consider it new in the box! Box also has original paper work and tools. The frame is nickel. The cylinder, barrel and top sight are blued. If one needs to see a picture of it click on Stilltrying-Find all post by stilltrying and look at my post of 1-02-2012. I am thinking on putting on auction with a reserve of $1500.00. Thoughts from any real collectors? Anyone? I should note there was a guy in Florida years ago who "made pintos". This one is real.
