Hi All !!!

Anyone out there have a recommendation for a trigger kit for the M&P 22 compact pistol?

The other day I shot mine for the first time and I'm hoping to reduce the amount of take-up before I feel the trigger "wall". My goal is to have the trigger feel a bit more like the trigger on my Shield Plus subcompact, but that may not be possible.

Thanks,

I did a small amount of stone polishing on the internal parts on my 22 compact and it took care of the grittiness, but really didn't effect takeup or trigger pull. It just got rid of the rough bumps through the pull. I was very careful not to change any angles or take off too much. I basically just took off the paint on the parts and made them shinny.

After finding zero upgrade kits, I did something a little different with mine. I bought a spare trigger and transfer bar and took out the hinge part by using superglue to keep it in the rearward position. I then reshaped it a bit to make it a little more flat. The overall feel of the trigger is much improved. And the internals were polished some as well. I use the safety unless I’m ready to fire so the hinged trigger was kinda redundant. I kept the original parts stock just because…
Smith doesn’t do hinged triggers anymore I don’t think.
