Default 1973-1974 Model 36

Anyone have any information on a 1973-1974 Model 36.
38 Spc
Nickel Plated
3" Pinned Barrel
Square butt
S/N J1230XX

Any info would be great.

Looks like you have caliber, model, and even year nailed down. What else are you trying to find or figure out?

It's a nickel plated specimen. If you remove the stocks one one side down near the bottom it should Have a big letter N stamped on the side of the grip frame if the nickel finish was applied by the factory.

Looks like original stocks. Doesn't have much of a turn line so it doesn't look to have been shot much. The hammer spur looks a little short to me. I'd guesstimate the value at $500 +/- $100 in my area - somewhat dependent on whether it comes with the box, tools, & paperwork.

Not much else to learn about it without a factory letter. Other than its a beauty.
