Default Finally, I got my Mod. 27

Saw a nice Mod. 27 on this Forum about 2 weeks ago; waited to long someone else got it. Wanted a 3.5 inch and found one on GB. I have had good luck buying on GB so I jumped in. I put out my max bid and walked away. To my surprise I won the auction. Real pleased with the gun and orig. box, need some paper and a kit to complete the package. Ser. #N35695, 1971 I think. I hope this is my last?

Mick

Nice gun! I'd be pretty happy with that!

That's my grail gun at the moment.

My guess based on the fine condition of the finest revolver
S&W ever produced, now in your possession.

Your probably far from your "last"

Been on the journey that I thought would end with one for a few years now. Started with a complete early 70's 6 inch.

Found the pristine 27-2 P&R 4 in. that absolutely had to join
the herd less than a year ago, case, docs and tools ......complete.

And it goes on....and on....from there.

I started looking for a 27 around 5-6 years ago. It never happened. Fortunately I settled for a 6" 28, no dash from 1960. Was not a mistake. Is a 27 in my future? You never know. Bob

Bananaman, to bad you didn't buy 5-6 years ago; it would seem a real deal compared to prices today.

I only have two (so far). Every time you cruise the auction sites from now on, and you see the words "S&W 27-2" , your heart will skip a beat and you will reach for the enter button. Welcome to the addiction!
"Hi, my name is Bob and I'm a 27-2 addict!"
