K Frame Grips
I have a pair K Frame Target grips with cut outs on both panels. Can someone tell me what time period these were made? What purpose were they made? Are they earlier or later than the grips with cut out in Left panel?

Usually for "special" guns, engraved, commemoratives, etc. These are N Frame. Joe

To some, that is the difference between Target Stocks and Presentation Stocks. Cut-out is to show special rollmarks on the sideplate. The Model 19 was a popular gun for various police commemoratives - here is a PASP Model 19-4 75th anniversary commemorative...
