10-7 (Pawn Shop)
Selling for $550.00 not sure about the price. Usually I can negotiate lower. He said not on this one. Locks up super tight with the trigger pulled and hammer down.

That’s full retail IMHO.
Not a great deal but it’s not a bad price.

$950 was wishful thinking.
Even $550 is too much. You'd probably need to put about $50 into a correct set of PC Magna stocks.
The gun has some finish loss and the target stocks have been altered (butchered to work with a speedloader), so they have little value. You should pass...

I think based on the sticker price in photo that his merchandise is hugely overpriced. Totally agree with others above. Pass.

$950 asking price? That's just about twice its actual value.

Those stocks may not be modified. I had a set just like that and I posted a few months ago on here about them. I think they were a very short run that S&W used for a year or so in the late 1970's...Another poster said that Dr. Jinks invented the design, but it tended to crack under heavy use so it was discontinued.

I'm familiar with the Jinks design. The ones on the pawn shop 10-7 aren't them.

I agree with the above.
If somebody wants it for home defense and the stocks fit his hands nicely, he could do worse. No need to worry about being correct.
I don't know what the collector market is for a 10-7 but this one is probably of no interest to them anyways.

Does not surprise me that a pawn shop puts such an outrageous price on it to begin with. I would go $450 Cash OTD Max and they are still probably making $250 on the gun. Good luck.

Here is a great post from last year regarding that design. I agree with Chad and Jack.
