Default Under the Hood

When I buy a used revolver I always take the side plate off to check for grime or rust before I shoot it. This old girl looked real clean to be fifty years old. Told my wife it was almost too pretty to shoot. Almost!

I put a drop of Rem Oil on the pivot points and put the side plate back on. Unlike me, she looks good for another fifty!

Nice score! It looks to be in beautiful condition...clean interior, the blued finish is great, and it still has nice color case hardening on the hammer and trigger. Doesn't appear to have been shot very often.
