Can someone please give me info on a J frame revolver serial number 176452?

When you roll the cylinder out, do you see a "MOD-37" stamp on
the frame in the yoke cut? Serial numbers in the database bracket
yours, and they are all Model 37s--Chiefs Special Airweights--in
.38 S&W Special caliber (the right side of your barrel might be
stamped "AIRWEIGHT" above "38 SPL. CTG.)"
What's the barrel length--2" or 3"? And does your Chiefs Special
have a round or square butt? I'm guessing it is blue, not nickel.

Bob yes it does say Mod 37. And yes it does say airweight above the "38 spcl cartridge" on the right side. It is a 1 7/8 inch barrel

Bob it is a square butt and is nickel not blue
Terrific, Paul.
S&W likely shipped your .38 Chiefs Special Airweight Model 37 in
late 1960 to early 1961.
It should have a flat thumbpiece that looks like the one in the
first photo, too, only in nickel.
If it has the original diamond magna stocks the same serial number
you see on the butt should be stamped inside the right stock (2nd
photo).

That would be the nominal 2" barrel. Nearly all of the J frame revolvers with the 2" barrel will actually show 1 7/8" as the actual length.
