Default Pics of recent purchases

Here are a few of the purchases that I have made after viewing all of the "eye candy" that I have seen on this sight. I just started collecting Smith and Wessons within the past year. I also have a 340SS snub as well as a 686-3 that I polished after reading another thread on this forum. They are all shooters. I still want either a Model 38 or Model 49. At some point, I would also like to add a nice 27-2 to the family. I have been bitten by the Smith and Wesson "bug". You people have cost me a bunch of money, but there are a lot worse things to spend money on.

You said "They are all shooters." Well those are some mighty fine looking shooters.

Hey lackejd, I just saw it was you posting the beautiful pics. Wanted to let you know the Alabama Gun Collectors gun show will be in B'Ham this weekend. If you come you can probably spend some more money.

It looks like you have a real bad case of Smith&Wesson fever. You're doomed, there's no known cure. I know 'cause the same thing happened to me when I started lurking around here. Folks warned me when the symptoms started to show but by then it was too late...

Very nice collection! And don't look at it as "costing you money". You still have your money. It's just that it's now in a different form!

What gunlovingril said.

That's the standard answer I give to folks that say I'm "wasting" money on guns.

You have a top shelf collection of guns and there's no need to stop now. More revolvers are for sale at good prices than me and you can buy. Come on in, the waters fine.

Great looking guns, enjoy!

You probably already know, but the target grips on your 19-3 should be the "football" cutout type similar to the ones you have on the 14-3. Your gun dates before 1977 and the speedloader type cutouts didn't start 'til about 1982. HTH

Great collection, now you're hooked.

I love those photos. When I first started looking I thought to myself that here's a guy who likes long-barreled revolvers. Then, I saw the snubs.

Nice bunch you've got there. If you shoot those pistols like you shoot that camera, you should be in competition. You're still in the early stages of this "condition". Just wait til you start looking for 5 screws and diamond grips.

I saw that first image, and my heart leaped up. Then I scrolled through the others and just about went into arrest. Great guns and great photos.

I started collecting seriously about a year ago. You should see what it has done to my retirement savings. But at least in the form of guns, my money can't be used by my bank to make fifth-position mortgages or trade in office-space futures, or bundled non-performing paper, or whatever they were doing.

Envy envy envy. And who do I see about the lower mandible dent in my keyboard?
