Default Holster for 3" Model 65

Anyone have a favorite inside the waist band holster for a 3" Model 65? With a retention snap or other device so the revolver doesn't fall out on the ground.

Which has happened to me with a cheap Uncle Mike's IWB with no retention. Luckily in my front yard and not at the mall or the grocery store!

I use a Mika IWB for my 65's. No retention on mine but it is a "deep" cover version holster that holds the revolver very low. The pressure of the belt and the position of the gun is more than enough to keep it retained.

Mika makes one with a retention thumb strap as well. he can customize any holster as well if you did not want it too deep.

Default Holster for 65

Thanks for all the good advice. I had a Bianchi Pistol Pocket for a Glock once, sold it with the pistol.

I'll check out the web sites and find me a good holster for the 65.

Thanks again for the info.

Howdy neighbor. I use an Uncle Mikes left handed neoprene IWB #2 with my 3" M65. I wear it in the middle of my back (I am right handed). It sits low enough that it is well concealed and never falls out.

What load do you carry in that M65?

DeSantis Speed Scabbard. No retention strap needed and has an adjustable tension screw.

Can't remember who but some maker is making what was originally the Bianchi Askins Avenger for revolvers.
