Holster suggestions for 2 1/2in model 66
I just got a nice 2 1/2in model 66 and I'd like some suggestions on holsters. I'd like to have a couple, one for open carrylrange use and one for concealed carry. Suggestios with pictures would be an extra nice touch.
If you have one for sale I'd like to hear about it as well please.
Thanks.

I carry mine in a Bianchi #8 "shadow" ( one on the far left )
use it for everything..( it's on my side right now..lol )
holds the gun up high & tight to the body, covers with a T-shirt or light jacket..and has spent many miles out in the woods bouncing around and never a fear of the gun being lost..
I can't remember where I got it, either off this fourm of e-bay..

I have a Kramer paddle holster from Tacoma, Washington. It took a while to have them make it, but it was worth the wait.

I carry my model 64 in a Bianchi 5BHL, and love it. It is a pretty high riding holster, and if I am wearing a jacket, it is completely concealed.

I carry mine in this and have for about eight years. It's an excellent, close to the body holster.

I carry my 2 1/2" 66-5 in a Galco waistband IWB, cheap and easy to grab and carry.

Lobogunleather. Ray posts here on the forum. Here's a pic of the one he made for me for a 2 1/2" Mod 19 (with metaloy finish). Exactly the same size as your 66.

For open carry I use a modified Victory shoulder holster.
For concealed I use a Galco Miami Classic S.H.
Galco shown w/o harness.

Before my wife took my 2 1/2" 66 I carried it in a Bianchi model 5BH or a Bianchi model 8 Shadow (pancake style). They are fine holsters for conceal or open carry. Since my wife took the only snub nosed revolver I had at the time I tried to locate a replacement and found a nice 3" S&W 65.

Simply Rugged. Same with their IWB straps for a tad deeper concealment.

For heaven's sake kritter, don't show those open trigger guard holtsers! Some people around here get the vapors and pass out at the sight of them.
