Default 629-6 Competitor (?) info. Please

Hey all-I have had this revolver for about 5 years, and I have heard that it is relatively rare, but whatever the case, I am looking for any information on it so that I can decide whether a letter from Uncle Roy is in order on it. Ser # MBR 00 9(X). Thanks! Flapjack.

SCSW, p.360, under Performance Center Model 629 Product codes lists "170120 6" Competitor Export to Wischo, 2000 c. 160 Mfd."

Wischo is in Germany. Some were available here so there may have been other batches. I remember bidding on one of these and at the the time I bid their barrels were being offered by one of the parts resellers. S&W dumping new barrels onto the parts market is a good indication they could not sell revolvers assembled with those barrels. However, scarce is a better description than rare.
