Do you have it or is it lost? A light coat of epoxy will hold it in place if you have it. If not, Google red ramp sight, midway arms has a video of how to start from scratch, but since your notch is already there, you can start from where they show how to cut the notch. I have a 27-2 at S&W having a red ramp sight installed, but it hadn't had one before. S&W may have them for sale, but you would have to use fine sand paper on the plastic to make it fit. Good luck!

Brownells
Look in the front of the handgun Sight Section. Page 232 in Catalog #61
081-000-370AB Mix it Kit.
080-068-000AB Sheet Plastic Insert Making Kit.
I need one installed myself. My 625-3 Ramp is not cut for one.
I have a feeler out on a gunsmith who installed one on a 27. Not sure if he still has the materials or not so far.

The Brownells kit is by far the easiest. Follow the instructions, and, you're done. You can even mix up a slightly custom color.
I've tried mixing up other stuff, and, it can be done but takes a lot of experimenting to get it right. You can probably get colored acrylics at your local hobby or craft store. I found, though, I had to buy the resin in such quantities at my particular stores that it wasn't worthwhile. I eventually just bought the kit and did a couple of sights.
I don't know where you are located - if you happen to be in the Pacific NW I would be happy to do it for you. It only takes about 20 minutes.

Groo here
There was at one time a company that sold plastic preformed for the
sight, just file to fit and glue in.
They even had brass and silver inserts, I need some of those.....

when I had one come out I melted down a little brass and made a mold on the sight out of waxed plastic. Poured the brass in there and had a cool sight ramp. I sold it foolishly, but if I ever get a red ramp again I'm going to put the brass in there.
