I have a Ladysmith 357/38 special model 65-5 with a 3" barrel. I bought a Bianchi 5BHL leather snap holster for it but it doesn't quite fit. I used the online Bianchi holster selector to pick the holster. They don't list the model 65-5.....the closest is model 60. I really want a holster like this. Can anyone tell me which Bianchi 5BHL holster is the right fit for my revolver? Thanks!

M60 is a J frame and smaller than your M65. The Bianchi site does not show a 3" 5BHL.
Your M65 is a K frame.

Went back and looked again and take a look at their model 111 cyclone hip holster. It says they have one that fits a M19 2.5" to 3". That should fit your gun better but the M19 is an adjustable sight gun.
Someone here might suggest another holster made for the 3" M65.

If Bianchi can't do what you need, First you may want to check with the vendors here. If they don't have what you're looking for, may I suggest Gould and Goodrich? USA made, inexpensive and sturdy. I own four of their holsters. The 803-34 (brown) or B803-34 (black) will fit the M65LS. OpticsPlanet(dot)com usually has the best price at less than $50.

Thanks...Optics planet is where I bought the Bianchi so I can do a return.

It doesn't quite fit

So far as I know a "Lady Smith" is a regular S&W with Lady Smith on it. It's Selling to the ladies.

I bought a Bianchi holster for my SP-101. It was labled for the 101 but, un arrival the package said Model 36/60. It fitted the gun except for the strap/snap. I had to alcohol the the strap to lengthen it to fit.

Bianchi holsters are now made in Mexico and are stamped with that on the back. If that doesn't bother you, go ahead and get one, but I suggest you get in touch with Ray Cory at Lobo Leather. He's a member of this forum and his prices are reasonable. I have a holster on order from him myself.

Checked with Bianchi and they said the holster I had was the one that should work with the Ladysmith (K) frame 3" barrel. I really like the look and feel of the holster because I have the same one for my 586 with a 6" barrel. I considered returning it but in the end I didn't. I resorted to stretching the hammer strap with water. I did not know you could use alcohol, I felt it might dry the leather out. It took a little time but now the holster fits like a glove. I am looking forward to many years of use from the holster now. Thanks for the replies!
