Default 19-5

Does ACF 1576 make sense as a serial number?

Inside the crane on my nickle 19-5 frame, just above the mod. 19-5 stamp is the number ACF1576.

On the crane itself is the number 99575. No "K" or anything.

Do those numbers make sense?

Regards,

Jim

Arizonarotors: Serial number ACF1576 would make sense for revolver manufactured in 1983. The other number is just an assembly number used during manufacture, to keep all the parts together.

Arizonarotors, my nickle 19-5 has a serial number of ACW10** and it too has a part number on the crane. I hope this helps.
