I had been in the market for a 4" inch 629 44 Mag. I wound up buying a new 629 4-inch 44 Magnum labeled "Outfitter Series" at Cabela's. To me it seemed just like a "Mountain Gun", but proprietary to Cabela's. Am I correct? This seemed to be a good balance to the 7.5" Vaqero and the "Winchester Legacy" (24") that I already had in 44 magnum. I have a few in 686s and really like them.
