Default Lew Horton Serial Numbers

Is there anything unique about a Lew Horton serial number? I just picked up a 7 shot 3" Model 686 with the factory wood grips that appears identical to the LH versions of the same description, but there was nothing in my paperwork that said Lew Horton. Would the SN confirm if this is a LH model?
