Default The saga continues

After I got my new Model 36 to replace the Model 640 Barrel launcher took it to the range for a bonding session.I noticed it was hitting way right to point of aim. When I cleaned it I found out why.The ramp sight was bent way to the right. You figure knowing the history of what this gun was replacing Quality Control would be all over this gun BEFORE it shipped.Anyway I sent it back to Smith with a return ticket they sent me and I hope they will get it right this time.We shall see...........Mike

Cruiser, you're either experiencing a run of really bad luck or S&W really needs to address their quality control issues. If I had to bet, I'd say it's them and not you. Hope they get it right for you and the first time.

p.s. I think it would be good p.r. if S&W gave the customer some sort of benefit ( such as a 10% coupon good for your next purchase ) for those customers like you who have to deal with the quality control problems on a new gun. Maybe that would be incentive for them to improve their quality control.

I can only hope @ this point.Figured after getting away from the 640 model line that would be enough to rid myself of my "Explosive" bad luck LOL.With all I have documented in my dealings with S+W just to get to this point I will be happy just to have a Model 36 that is POA POI.The likelyhood of anything more is equivelent to a major blizard in Hell.Hope springs eternal.....Mike

The front sight being biased to the right should make the gun shoot to the left. You have to move the barrel to the left to bring a right-biased sight into alignment with the rear sight.

Or am I missing something?
