Default Tell me about this 640 and moonclips

Product: Model 640

I love this gun. Perfect for concealed carry. Looks like awesome sights for a j-frame snub.

Whats the deal with the cylinder being "cut for moon clips"? Does that mean I HAVE to use moon clips or I CAN use moon clips?

I have no experience or knowledge with moon clips.

Thanks, Jeff

Moonclips are optional, it will function fine without them.

5-shot moon clips for the J frame are a bit pricey; but an easy way to carry 5 more shots for a fast re-load. You get 2 IIRC with the gun and can shoot with out them with no problems.

Awesome, that's what I wanted to hear. A great addition and companion to my Model 38.

Another question, what are the chances of me ordering this and getting it in the near future?
