Unhappy Smith and Wesson 29-5 Classic with Hogues and 5" barrel

Did anyone else happen to notice the Smith 29-5 Classic with the 5" barrel for sale on G/A, I nearly swallowed my gum, could be yours today for $1795, does have box and papers, but WOW! It was manufactured in the 1990-1994 time period, but that is just well I'm thinking "crazy", and it was a Tennessean that has it shock number 2... I know these are scarce, but really??? billy

That is approximately triple what I paid for my favorite 29 shooter, a nice used one that I bought on GA in Feb 2011. And over double what I paid for a NIB version in 2010. Both of mine are 5" Classic blue 29-5's.

Then look at what the 16-4's are doing.... And there are close to 10,000 of them in circulation.
