Will this fit on the 38sp Bodyguard? I don't care for the laser that came with the gun.

No, I don't think so. The BG38 frame is not a J-frame, even though they are similar in size.
Nope! The frames of the two pistols are very different. The Crimson Trace will only fit the regular metal J-frames.
There is one grip that fits both, the Hogue Tamer Grips. Check out the instructions for the Tamer grip at the link below and you will see what Hogue does to make that possible. Lots of dimensional differences that require both adding and removing spacers in the Tamer grip for each pistol.
