Can the Crimson Trace LG-359 Lasergrips be modified to fit an original S&W Model 59? I know that the Model 59 has different grip attachment method than the third generation pistols (screws vs. a grip pin), so the LG-359 won't fit as-is.
If the grips can't be modified, is there another laser that can fit the 59? Or can the 59 be fitted with the third-gen grip pin?
I carry in a fanny pack so the holster shape isn't much of a consideration.
I've considered night sights instead, but my Model 59 has a fixed front sight, so I don't know how doable that would be.
