Price Check on a S&W 386 Sc/S

I'm new to these here forums so go easy on me if this is not allowed.

A LGS had a used (about 90%) S&W 386 Sc/S for $600. It has some wear around the barrel and a slight nick or 2 on the frame but overall it appears to be in good condition. I asked if it came with the box but they didn't know and they were a bit busy to go looking for it.

Question is is $600 a good deal? Also i tried searching for reviews of the pistol but i couldn't really find anything. Anyone have one that they can comment on? I really wanted to scandium revolver but the TRR8 and 360 are over $1000.

Yours appears to be the 386 ti not the Sc/S that the OP is asking about unless you changed out the cylinder. I'd happily pay that for the Ti but I don't have any interest in the stainless cylinder version. It's still probably a decent price though for an out of production gun if it's in good shape.

Totally missed that -- I deleted my post as it related to the wrong revolver.

The Sc/s was only made for about a year, maybe two at the most. I think they discontinued them and came out with the Nightguard line of revolvers. You don't see them to often, I think I paid $550 with the box about 3 or 4 years ago.

How much less should I offer if it doesn't come with the original box and paperwork?
