Cudo's to S&W 9 yup nine new guns offered
My guns & ammo magazine arrived. S&W is offering 8 New revolvers and one new pistol. That's awesome that s&w is keeping the revolver alive for us decaded wheel gun guys. And the competition shooters. Let me be the first one to say congrats.
That 8 3/8" barrel in stainless looks promising in 44mag. the model 629 PC looks like we have a winner.
The model 69 with the 4 1/4" barrel in 44 caliber looks promising. The model 66 with the 4 1/4" barrel in 38/357 caliber also looks like we have a winner too.
I'm really excited to see new offerings in the wheel gun market.
S&W gets my vote. Like I said before I like the new and older s&w guns.
But the prices on the new model 69 in 44spec/ 44mag for $849 and the model 66 in 38/357 mag for $849 surely has me seeing double or twins in my safe.
You have to see these. There's more too. Bill
S&W 686 PC 38/357 w/2 1/2" barrel in s/s
S&W 629 PC 9mm 8 shot w/6 1/2" barrel in s/s

The Performance Center 686 2.5 in stainless is already out and is a fine shooter!
At work can't get the file to upload. I think mine had a born on date of 1/22/14.

I'll take the 44 ACP...
Seriously, I am excited about them, too. It is a great sign that S&W is introducing some new revolvers.

Cool let us know how you like it, I picked up mine last week but won't have time to get to the range with it for a few more weeks.

We should be extremely thankful that S&W continues to maintain a diverse product line and is always looking to introduce new models. I find it interesting that most of 2014's offerings are 4"+ ... I wonder if S&W is still smarting from the Night Guard line underperforming based on initial expectations for the CCW crowd. I'd like to see some new snubs for dedicated CCW thrown into the new model mix. Steel 9mm and .45 ACP models with < 3" barrels would be great limited edition runs ... maybe revised versions of the 940 and 325. At least with the 2014 9mm revolver there's a precedent for future production if sales are strong.

I read this last night too. I am soooo glad S&W is keeping the revolver current and in the press. The PC 44mag has me thinking, I may need another.

I'm old too don't worry were getting older together me, yummy and s&w. I'm 63yo and feel like 90 on somedays.
We grew up with mainly wheel guns and 1911's right?
I can give or take a pistol they don't do anything for me history wise. It's the real wheel guns of s&w that's still part of the history and legendary s&w revolvers that stood the test of time even to today.
Pistols just don't do anything for me. I have them and shoot them but that's about it. They don't draw attention. I was out at the local range were everyone was shooting the 9mm's. It was quiet like they were all sleeping. I took out the m58 and sent some 41 Magnums down range and woke the whole place up.
