Question for those in the know. Looking for a set of grips for a 627 PC 2.6 incher. Looking for something wider in the palm area with finger grooves and a little more area for the pinky to rest on without adding a lot more overall length. Is there such an animal that might be maybe the same length as the factory grips or maybe something only very slightly longer. Looking for mild to dark wood grain. I have looked at quite a few brands but it's tough to tell how long they really are. Would appreciate any pics or comments. Thanks in advance.

What grips came on the first production 627's? Watched Blood Work last evening and it looked like Eastwoods 627 had Hogue Bantams. Does anyone know if those are still available anywhere?

The factory grips on the 627PC did not work for me; I did not get enough control from them shooting .357 or even .38s. I went with the Hogue wood grip, which has worked very well for me:

Still curious if anyone knows what make/model rubber grips were on Eastwoods gun.
I can not tell you what was on Clint's gun.....never saw it.

However the UDR and PDR revolvers shipped with Eagle checkered Secret Service grips

I changed mine to the older Combat grips
