The first 2 pics are of the blast shield on one of my 386 Night Guards. As you can see the blast shield is bent down and pressed together.
The third picture is of my 386PD and you can see the blast shield is correct.
Not only is the blast shield bent and pressed together on my Night Guard, I am also able to move it side to side quite freely for a fraction of an inch with my fingers. It also slides around that fraction of an inch when the gun is handled. You cannot do that with the correct one in the third picture.
The 386NG just came back from SW to have the timing fixed and I asked them to look at the Blast Shield as well. Maybe they forgot? Maybe they didn't think it was a problem? What do you guys think?
I bought the gun a couple of months ago and it maybe had a box of ammo through it, and not a mark on it. It was basically new in the box.
