Default Not quite a scratched up 442

Smith and Wesson days today at the LGS. I had to buy something, but wanted something out of the ordinary. This is what I chose. Not hand scratched up, but machine scratched up. It will have to do for a scratched up gun for now...

I do like that there is no lock on this...

The cylinder is engraved too, but that does not show up very well in the photos.

LGS here, Michigan, had one awhile back. It was marked $699.00. Was there for awhile I know, might still be, but I passed on it.

Now THAT kind of scratching I can live with.

Have fun with your beautiful new gun.

Congratulations, sir! It looks better in your pictures than it does in any of the advertising pictures I have seen.

I bought the same gun for my wife. She liked it because she said it's pretty. Got to make momma happy I guess... I took her to the range to put some rounds through it. It is a fantastic shooting gun for sure. It's a little too small for my fat hands though. Congrats on the fine piece!

Well, I'll be..........I might have to turn in my man-card, but darned if I don't like that a lot! It is a little pricey. I know an engraver here in the Vegas Valley that can do scrolls like that in his sleep. Move over S&W, you've got competition. ............... Big Cholla

I did a little better than 699 on this one. Ended up at $652.00 out the door. I don't think I'll shoot it, but one never knows... I'm just happy to have something "different", and very pleased it doesn't have that infernal internal lock!
