Picked this one up awhile back and wanted to share it. She shoots absolutely amazing.

I picked this up from a fellow forum friend who knew I collected 3" K/L Frames.

The back story is that it started out life as a Lew Horton 6" PowerPort Gun according to my good friend Earl at Lew Horton, but ended up like this. :).

An email from S&W states that the Barrel swap was done by Vito in the Performance Center and they called it Crude Porting. The Barrel is from a 686-6 3".

I added combats for the pics, but shoot it with Nill Thumbrest Stocks. What a Dream to shoot.

At least I get to see where are the RB Combat Grips went. Very cool gun. So, is it considered a "factory" gun?
Is it just me, or does the 4th photo make it look like the barrel is wavy?

Hahaha. Whoa! That pic is funky. She wouldn't shoot so good if it looked like that. That's some distortion from my iPhone. Lol.

I don't think I would consider it a factory gun, more of a custom gun. No way it will letter that way. It will letter as a Lew Horton 6" PowerPort Im sure.

I don't have that many K/L Combats in the wood pile do I :) :)

That is an awesome collection of Combats? Anymore on the way?

Jim, Beautiful gun (and combats). It looks like the porting is cut into the sight. Almost like the scope mount broaching on a 629. Does it make it to the barrel?

Man, what an Beautiful revolver. That is just about perfect.

ported 686 "custom"

Looks like my kinda gun so much, I reached down to feel the gun in my holster and I realized this one is not mine YET(hehe)
Instead I was still wearing my EDC a 8 shot 327 that the folks
at Magna-port did their quadport magic. With 125 grain hollowpoints muzzle , it feels like 148 gr wadcutters!!!

I bought this from a forum member.Glad to get it since its a hard to find variant
