Well you would think an old dog would learn but not me I suppose. I had some trouble running some aluminum cased cheap 380 acp through my little Taurus 380 acp. It was the only thing that has not run in it or that has given me any problem. So I swore off.

I ran across some steel cased Tula Russian made 38 specials for about $14 per 50. Put them in my Model 360PD Scandium/Titanium 357 Snubby and they shot just fine. Only problem was, I had to take a tool to get them out of the cylinder. Go figure. You really do get what you pay for!!

I will try to shoot them in my Ruger LCR 357. But my guess is I will have the same problem then.

Anyone else have this issue with the Russian steel cased ammo?

If I had a Ti cylinder revolver, I wouldn't shoot steel cased ammo in it. I think it would damage the coating too easily.

I am not a fan of Russian steel cased ammo. I believe the QC is bad the many of the rounds are way over pressure. That's my two cents.

Had the same problem w/PMC .44 Mag in my 29 Classic 8 3/8" barrel. One box left , never again. Yup ya git what ya pay for...

Never had a problem with Sellier & Bellot.

A 360PD is by no means an inexpensive gun. Why use the cheapest ammunition you can find? Stick with US made, brass cased ammunition. There are low cost options such as Winchester "white box", Remington UMC and Federal American Eagle.

Well, don't use any more! You don't want to ruin a gun or risk injury by using ammunition of questionable quality.

Throw that junk away and get some good ammo! That stuff is made for only one purpose, cheapness!

S&B is fairly lightly loaded ... above .44 special levels, but near the bottom of the .44mag levels. Same as MagTech, I think.
