I really like the 327 Magnum a lot. First it is really versatile, you can shoot 327 Mag, .32 H&R Mag, 32 Long out of it (I really also love the 32 H&R). You can also get a lot of rounds in a cylinder.
Unfortunately I don't own a 327 Mag because S&W does not make one. The ones they did make, go for way more than what they are worth. Ruger, however, is going strong with the 327 MAG. They make a single action in 3 barrel lengths that holds 7 rounds of 327 Mag. They make the 327 SP101 with a 4.2" barrel and a GP100 in 327. AND...
Today Ruger introduced the LCR in 327 Mag!
I wish S&W was still doing revolver development like Ruger. S&W seems to focus on their plastic pistols and AR type rifles and has abandoned their revolver line. Maybe they announce one or two variations on existing models each year, but that is about it from S&W and their revolver line.
I really want a 7 or 8 shot K/L frame 327 Mag with a 3" barrel. Heck, how about a N Frame snubby with 9 shots?
