Default Birdseye Maple Grips, Lets see em

Picked up a beautiful set of Birdseye Maple Grips from John Culina this week,, I know they would look better on a blued gun but this will have to do till I get a blued N frame.
Lets see some of yours.

Well, I don't have any of my own. Either walnut or elephant ivory. But those are sure purdy!!! I think you're right, they would dress up a blued gun real nice. They don't look bad on that stainless either. Let us see some pics if you put them on a blued gun. Heck... That's an excuse to buy another gun!

Birdseye Maple make for a striking look. The aftermarket made grips can be very nice. I have 2 pair and have shown one in a post above.

But, to me, the primo birdseye maple grips are the S&W Factory made ones! A few members here have some in both magna and target styles. Maybe they will post them here (but they may not fit in this sections timeframe).

Other than fine walnut Birdseye Maple is my favorite wood. John makes a fine grip and the photos show the wood and his work very well.

This one of John's (Kurac) earlier grips (circa 2010):

And this one is a S&W Factory grip
