Smith & Wesson New model 520 7 shot information needed

I recently purchased a S&W new model 520 7 shot at a local pawn shop. It's in like new condition and doesn't appear to have been fired much if at all. I cant find very much information on it besides what the Blue Book of Gun Values say. I know they were made for about a year and a half mid 05 to 06 and are pretty hard to find. Does anyone know how many were made and what the value of these are? Any information would be helpful. Thanks

Last one I saw on GB that SOLD was 18 months ago, and was done @ $580 plus shipping, LNIB with papers. Just recently there was one listed w/o box for $749, and I didn't see it sell.

It was supposed to be the replacement for the Model 19. It's the blue finish version of the 620. There was also a 619, which was the fix sight version of teh 620. Only the 520 had the scandium cylinder.

So the 620 replaced the 66. The 619 replaced the 65, and 520 was the replacement for the 19. Whether or not they were actually replacements, is debatable. I have a 620 and like. If you get bored of your 520, let me know

I think your time frame is correct. They atarted in 2005 and ended during or before 2007. Not sure how many were made. I them from time to time on GB.
