I was lucky enough to purchase a 586 6in 7 shot, new to revolvers and s&w, really love the gun and looking to learn more about it. Was told it's a 2006 remodel and only fired 14 times. I couldn't find any information about a 6in 7 shot anywhere on the internet, so any information is greatly appreciated!

I was trying to find some more information and found some info on 6 shot models, I had the grips off and was also curious about the serial numbers and other markings and what to look for specifically lol
