Due to a death in the family I recently acquired a NIB- SW 360 Kit gun. This is a 357 airlite Scandium/titanium 3 1/8 barrel, with the goofy HI-viz sights and super fancy metal lockable carrying case and paperwork.

I know little about revolvers and am having trouble finding a value. Can anyone tell me what I can sell this for or what it sold for originally? Thank you for your time

The product code for the gun was 163067. It's a -1, as in Model 360-1 AirLite Kit Gun, with a two-piece barrel. The frame is Scandium alloy and the cylinder Titanium. That's a lot of technology in a small package. The thing is a feather.

They didn't make very many, and they don't trade hands all that often, but they typically sell in the $550 to $1,000 range. I know that's a big spread. The key is to get it in front of the "educated" buyers that know what it is and how uncommon they are.

It would be the ideal gun for someone backpacking in bear country. Otherwise, very painful to shoot with full power magnums. Not fun.

Thank you very much for your responses. I guess I need to find a place to list it.

Would it be bad form to list here after asking about it?

this guy has since changed his story about the history of this gun, after I showed interest and received more detailed photos I told him I believed the gun was not new but had been shot more than what the factory would have done. He then claimed I was wrong, since he had bought the gun new, contradicting his original post.
