Hi all. Did a search and came up with alot of empty. Who makes an IWB holster for the 686+ 2.5"? If you currently have one, please post maker name, part # if possible, and a picture would be awesome too!! If someone has one for sale, I might be interested also(Depending on condition). Mine is currently in layaway jail at BGS un early Nov. Thanks Ron

Blade Tech makes an IWB for your 2.5" 686+...
Blade-Tech Nano IWB Holster | Blade Tech | Holsters
Be aware that if you choose leather, and it is tightly boned, it has to be specifically for the (+) model as the cylinder flutes are located differently than the 6-shot. The same would apply for any other Kydex that is tightly molded. The Simply Rugged works because it isn't boned.
Adios,
Pizza Bob

I concur with the other posters Simply Rugged, If they don't have what you want, they will make it for you, I have sourdough pancake for my 686 2 1/2" with the internal belt loop for IWB carry. gives me both options for about $15 more.

I have a Tucker Gun Leather texas heritage for my 69 4" that also fits a 2.5" 686+ quite well. I would definitely recommend it

686+ 2.5" Holsters
All my IWB holsters are now made by Lobo leather. Spend the extra dollars for the horse hide and you won’t regret it. I do own a 686+ 2.5” but went back to carrying my old S&W 19-3 2.5”. Even though the L frame is only slightly bigger than the K frame it felt so much bigger and heavier inside the waistband.

Andrews Leather-St. Augustine FL. Made all the leather for the remake of “The Magnificent Seven”. Also made a couple killer rigs for Quentin Tarrantino and Kid Rock. I have leather fom a lot of makers..Alessi, Milt Sparks, Wright, Rosen, Ritchie...few others too. They are all good. Sam Andrews’ gear is the best of the best.

Hmmmm.....I have an old Gould & Goodrich faux leather holster that it perfect for my 686+ 2.5" but they probably don't make them anymore. However, El Paso Saddlery makes my other holster for that gun - a shoulder holster that works well. They make several models and they can make any of them for a 686+ 2.5".

Hmmm. Just picked up a new 986 PC 2.5". Can I assume that these holsters would fit that as well?

I'm a big fan of Wild Bill's Concealment's Covert Carry holsters.
Wild Bill's Concealment | The Professional's Choice
It's a family owned business in Garner NC, and they do excellent work at a reasonable price. If it's not in stock they can make it for you and have it at your door in about 3 weeks. The website says 8-10 weeks for made to order items, but I've never had it take more than 3 weeks from order placed to little brown truck of happiness at the door.
Below is a picture that shows both sides of the holster, as well as how they look new, and after some use. WBC uses natural colored leather, and it takes on it's own brown color after some use. The design is also tuckable, with the shirt going between the tab and holster. The off set clip also makes the holster much lower profile than is normally the case with an IWB holster, and it's very welcome with a revolver where the cylinder is already the thick spot in the rig, and a clip on that spot just makes it even thicker.
WBC also makes a great slip over speed loader carrier that lets you put 2, 3 or 4 rounds inside the belt line to reduce the profile.

Wright Leather Works. I'm using one for my 3" 686+, and yours is one of their listed guns. They are pricy, but worth every penny.

I've got a 686 2.5". Craft Holsters makes a real good iwb. The only thing I had to do was have a shoemaker sew a leather sweat shield on it. Simply Rugged Sourdough pancake with the optional iwb clips. Can carry iwb, owb or cross draw. I have both.
